LG KF700 Virgo giving iPhone a Real Challenge

LG KF700, or LG Virgo, is LG’s response to the Apple iPhone. The phone has been launched on O2 in the UK, and seems like it is giving the iPhone a real challenge.

This elegant multimedia slider offers a unique interface with 3 seperate touch related input methods, each with designated functionality and automatically asserted for the task at hand.

In the picture you can instantly see the virtual shortcut dial on its 3 inch touch sensitive screen, for which there is a corresponding scroll wheel positioned on the back of the phone, alternatively slide the screen upwards to reveal an alpha-numeric keypad.

Having integrated TouchFlo technology into the touchscreen, users can scroll through menu’s and shortcuts with a swipe of the fingertip via predefined widgets.

The scroll wheel comes in really handy and apart from being able to select from 6 user-selected features at anytime, it can also be used to scroll through web pages (zooming in or out), control volume and check through emails.

HSDPA 3G enabled for high speed internet connections and faster data transfers, the LG KF700 offers full web browsing facilities and email access to accompany you on all your travels, as well as access to the experimental GMail.

Multimedia features include a 3 mega pixel multi-functional camera, video player, secondary front mounted videocall camera, Stereo FM Radio and an MP3 player with support for multiple audio formats.

LG KF700 offers bluetooth and other features such as Google Search, Maps and the facility to upload images and videos direct to blogsites and YouTube.
