Water Will Power Samsung Phones

The Samsung engineers have created a new technology that will make water power mobile phones by 2010. Well, not water actually, but a hydrogen. The hydrogen gas is created during the reaction between water stored in a phone and a metal plate. After that the gas is transfered into a fuel cell, where it reacts with oxygen to create electrical power. Such reactions can make up to 3 watts of power. That is enough to use the technology in mobile phones. Such fuel cells already exist: they can provide power for about 10 hours, and then the metal cartridge needs to be replaced about once every five days. In future no replacement of cartriges will be required. Users will be able to fill their mobile phones with water and make them work!
